What does the PRO version unlock?
With Toool PRO, you get:
- Export to WAV, stems (individual tracks), and MIDI
- Access to more instruments and sounds
- Project import/export functionality
- No ads or sponsorship banners
- Extended functionality in the LIVE and SEQUENCER modules
How can I get PRO access?
You can:
- Subscribe monthly via Google Play or Apple App Store
- Make a one-time Lifetime Access purchase
To activate, open the app and tap on "Pro License" from the main menu or welcome screen. You will see two buttons: "Free Trial" and "Lifetime Access".
I already paid but still don't see PRO — what should I do?
Make sure you're logged in with the same Google/Apple account used during the purchase. Then, open the app and press the "Pro License" button — this will sync your status.
Can I use PRO access on multiple devices?
Yes, as long as you are signed in with the same Google Play or Apple ID account. Just reinstall the app, log in with the correct account, and click "Pro License" to restore access.
How do I cancel my subscription?

How do I save a project?
Projects are saved automatically. You can also manually save by using the "Save Project" option in the menu (folder icon).
Where are my projects stored?
Toool stores projects locally on your device. There is no cloud sync between devices.
Can I transfer my projects to another device?
Yes. Use the "Export All Projects" (paper airplane icon on the main screen) to send yourself a ZIP file via email. On the second device, download and unzip it (e.g., in the Downloads folder), then use "Import Project" from the file menu.
What file type is used for projects?
Toool uses the .toool file extension. These files are extremely lightweight and do not contain audio or MIDI — only your project settings and arrangements.
Can I export my music?
Yes, in the PRO version, you can export:
- A stereo mix in WAV format
- Stems (individual WAV files for each instrument)
- A MIDI file for your sequence
Where do the export files go?
Toool lets you share files via the system share sheet (email, AirDrop, etc.). There's no persistent folder; you must share or save them manually.

Can I record audio (like vocals) directly in Toool?
No, Toool does not currently support audio recording. You can export the beat and record vocals in another app or DAW. For professional audio processing, try our desktop plugins like
Reverbia,
Anadrive, or
Anodyn.
Can I edit sequences during live recording?
Currently, live tweaking is limited while recording. However, you can pre-arrange and build dynamic sequences using the LIVE and PAD sections.
Does Toool support custom sounds?
Not yet. All available sounds are internal. Future updates may bring sound font or sample support.
Who owns the music I make with Toool?
You do. All sequences, melodies, and songs generated using Toool — including random generation — are entirely yours. You are free to use, modify, commercialize, or publish them without restriction.
Can I release or sell music made with Toool?
Yes. Many users use Toool as a sketchpad or live groove tool for serious productions. You retain full copyright of anything you make.

I updated the app and lost access to my projects, why?
Projects are stored locally. If the app is deleted or cache is cleared, and you didn't export your projects, they are unfortunately lost. We strongly advise exporting projects regularly.
The app crashes when loading a project — what can I do?
- Ensure you're on the latest version (1.7.1 or higher)
- Try using "Import Project" instead of "Load Project"
- Move your ZIP archive to the Downloads folder before importing
- Try opening the project on another device, if possible
- Contact support with your device specs and project details
I can't click the Pro License button — what's wrong?
If the "Pro License" button is bold blue and non-clickable, that means your app is already in PRO mode. If you're having trouble seeing options, try uninstalling and reinstalling, or click "Free Trial" again to force a license check.
Is Toool available for PC or Mac?
Not at the moment. A desktop version (Windows/macOS) is planned in the future, possibly as a standalone and plugin (VST/AU). However, you can already use our professional
desktop plugins including
Reverbia,
Anadrive,
Anodyn, and
Diffonic.

I was charged but didn't want to subscribe. Can I get a refund?
Can I use the Free Trial without a payment method?
No. Both Google and Apple require a valid payment method to activate the 7-day free trial. Toool doesn't handle payments directly.
